Terms of Service

The ground rules for using this site and booking our services.

These terms cover your use of this website and the general terms for services provided by NW Drone & Media. Each booked project is also covered by its own signed agreement; if the two conflict, the signed agreement wins.

Using this website

Content on this site, including photos, video, text and design, belongs to NW Drone & Media or is used with permission. You may view and share links to it, but you may not copy, download or reuse it without written permission.

Prices, packages and availability shown on the site are for general information and may change. A quote or signed agreement is the only binding statement of price and scope.

Bookings and payment

  • A date is reserved once the agreement is signed and the retainer is paid.
  • Payment schedules, cancellation and rescheduling terms are set out in each project agreement.
  • Travel fees may apply outside our standard service area.

Drone operations

All flights are conducted under FAA Part 107 and are subject to airspace authorization, weather and site conditions. The remote pilot in command has final say on whether, where and when it is safe and legal to fly. See ourFlight Safety & FAA Compliance page for details.

Deliverables and usage rights

We retain copyright in all footage and images we create. Clients receive a license to use their deliverables for the purposes described in their agreement (for example, personal use for wedding films or marketing use for commercial projects). We may use selected work in our portfolio unless the client opts out in writing.

Client responsibilities

  • Provide accurate dates, locations and timelines.
  • Obtain any venue or property-owner permission needed for filming and takeoff/landing.
  • Tell us about known hazards, restrictions or sensitive areas at the site.

Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim related to a project is limited to the amount paid for that project. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for coverage missed because of weather, airspace restrictions, venue rules or other circumstances outside our control.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington.
